Our Medical Review Process

Last updated: 2026-07-06

Why physician review matters

An AI system, however well designed, cannot examine a patient, cannot ask a follow-up question a form didn't anticipate, and carries no medical license or accountability. That is why every single AI assessment generated on TransformYou — free or paid — passes through physician review before it results in any clinical recommendation, appointment booking, or treatment discussion. This is a structural commitment, not a marketing claim: the AI's output is treated as a pre-consultation draft for Dr. Anand, not a finished clinical product for the patient.

What happens after you complete an assessment

  1. The AI conducts a structured intake conversation, gathering history, symptoms, duration, and — where relevant and provided — photos or previous medical reports.
  2. The AI produces a structured educational report: possible causes, severity, confidence level, red flags if any, and suggested next steps.
  3. This report, along with the underlying conversation and any uploaded material, is queued for Dr. Anand's review via the doctor dashboard.
  4. Dr. Anand reviews the case, confirms or corrects the AI's working impression, and determines the appropriate next step — which may be further information, a video consultation, an in-person visit, or reassurance that no urgent action is needed.

Compliance framework

This process is designed to operate within India's Telemedicine Practice Guidelines 2020, which govern how registered medical practitioners may use digital tools and remote consultation. The AI assessment functions as a structured intake and triage tool; it does not independently issue a diagnosis or prescription at any point in the process.

What we ask of patients

Complete the intake as accurately and completely as possible — the AI's usefulness to Dr. Anand depends on the quality of the history it gathers. If your situation changes or worsens before you hear back, or if you're experiencing anything that feels urgent, please seek in-person or emergency care immediately rather than waiting for review.

Frequently asked questions

How long does doctor review take?

Review timing varies with volume, but the design intent is prompt review — if your situation feels urgent, do not wait for review; seek emergency care (112 in India) or an in-person consultation directly.

Does the AI ever act without doctor review?

No clinical recommendation, prescription, or treatment plan is issued without Dr. Anand's review. The AI's report is an intake and educational tool, not an independent clinical output.
